THANK YOU FOR HELPING
Thank you to those who responded to the appeal
for clothing for a needy community in
Fraserburg, where the winter chill bites hard.
It was very gratefully received.

FOOTBALL FEVER
Rustenburg girls and staff wore soccer tops from
various countries to mark 14 days to kick off,
and to show their enthusiasm for the World Cup
and to welcome the visitors from around the
world who will shortly be visiting our country:

STRINGS EVENING
Our Music Department held a Strings Evening on
12 May, when parents could experience the
progression the girls had made in their
instruments, especially those who only started
four months ago. The girls dressed as fairies
and princesses to add flair to the evening.

PIRATES INVADE GRADE R CLASSES!
On Friday 7 May really scary pirates visited our
Grade R classrooms. Mysteriously, our Grade Rs were missing, perhaps driven away by the
cutlasses, eye-patches and scarred faces!

SOAPBOX DERBY
On 21 April our top terrace and the adjoining
tennis court were the venue for an international
team event, as our classes dressed up in their
world cup countries, sang their country's songs
and held an inter-country race.

FACETS COMPETITION

Souci High School, Kelly Williams took first place, and
