RUSTENBURG CD

The High School Music Department recorded a CD at the end of the Second Term, in honour of Dr Fullard’s retirement. It features the Chamber Choir, accompanied by the orchestra performing various works commissioned over the years for Heads, Deputy Centenary etc. 

The CD costs R50 and is available from the High school.

1. Stephen Carletti: Shout to the Lord in Triumph (Psalm 100) 
Commissioned by the Centenary Committee on the occasion of the school’s Centenary in 1994.

2. Andrew-John Bethke: Psalm 121 
Commissioned by the Music Department on the occasion of the retirement of the headmistress, Dr Elizabeth Fullard, in June 2006.

3. Stephen Carletti: Levavi Oculos (Psalm 121) 
Commissioned by the Music Department to mark the retirement of the headmistress, Mrs Mary van Blerk, in June 1999.

4. Allan Stephenson: Little Star of Bethlehem 
Commissioned by the Music Department to mark the retirement of the deputy headmistress, Miss Marian Lennox, in December 2005 after 38 years of service to the school.
