Many people feel the need to make some contribution to society and what could be better than making a donation or bequest to a worthy cause through ROGU.

Besides our newsletters to keep all members informed of the activities of past pupils, ROGU is able to award bursaries to deserving past pupils, viz,

The Mavis Wakeford Bursary, which was bequeathed to ROGU for the benefit of Old Girls studying to be a teacher.

The Diamond Jubilee Award, established in 1954, is given to the top matriculant of each year for a period of three years.

The C L Kemp Essay Prize is awarded annually.

The Bridge Bursary was set up by a few keen bridge players, who were on the ROGU committee some time ago, and this is used to assist deserving Old Girls with their tertiary tuition fees.

If you are able to make a donation or a bequest to ROGU, this would be greatly appreciated.

The proceeds may be deposited into Nedbank Claremont Account No 18246567/9998 in the name of Rustenburg Old Girls Union.

Confirmation of your deposit, with details of name and address, can be mailed to ROGU, P O Box 19058, Wynberg 7824 or faxed to +27 (0) 21 671-1996.
